Application
1. Reaction Catalyst: n-Propyl titanate is an effective catalyst in esterification, transesterification, condensation, and addition reactions, or as a polymerization Ziegler-Natta catalyst. Unique reaction products include: (meth)acrylates, polyesters, plasticizers, various esters, polyurethanes, etc. Benefits of using n-propyl titanate include elimination of by-products, increased yield, ease of handling, low catalyst concentration, and low toxicity.
2. Coatings: n-Propyl titanate can be used to treat glass, metals, fillers, and pigments to increase surface hardness, adhesion promotion, scratch resistance, coloring effects, heat and light reflection, iridescence, and corrosion resistance.
3. Paint Additives: n-Propyl titanate can be used as an additive in paints to crosslink functional polymers or adhesives, promote adhesion, or as an adhesive itself.
4. Other Applications: Plastics industry; pharmaceutical industry and other fields.
