Application
Trioctylamine is used in waste water treatment: as additives used in sewage treatment works to treat
organic wastewater, petroleum products, quaternary ammonium compounds, and their derivatives.
Trioctylamine is used in extraction of rare metals: it is used as extraction reagent in metallurgical
industryfor extracting and separating of the cobalt, nickel, actinium series, and lanthanide series, such
as molybdeum, vanadium, rare earth and other precious metals.
