PHMG is a guanidine derivative that is used as a biocidal disinfectant to kill bacteria, including gram-positive bacterium, gram-negative bacterium and fungi.
It's applications include
Human hygiene biocidal products, such as sanitizing wipes
Metalworking-fluid preservatives
Private area and public health area disinfectants and other biocidal products
Veterinary hygiene biocide
Aquaculture biocide
Fibre, leather, rubber and polymerised materials preservatives
Film preservatives
Preservatives for liquid-cooling and processing systems
